programs, executive coaching, organizational OD interventions, etc.
- Coordinate with the client and our Program Manager to ensure seamless
planning of these initiatives.

The Interarts Foundation, with
the support of the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia, is
currently carrying out study that evaluates the action undertaken by the
European Commission to support Regional and Minority Languages during the
period 1998-2002. This evaluation, which has been commissioned by the
Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission,
commenced in July 2003 and is scheduled to be concluded by the first trimester
of 2004. The aims of the study include an analysis of individuals projects and
specialised centres (EBLUL and Mercator) that have received funding from the EC,
as well as drawing up proposals of how to maximise the effects of EC action in
the field of regional and minority languages over the coming years. For further

The European Commission
has just published a series of projects for a
partnership with Civil Society. The first call grants support to "European projects
concerning debates between non- governmental organisations for 2004", while
the second is designed for "debate and reflection projects organised by
associations and federations of European interest", also for the year 2004.
Amongst the possible subjects eligible for the award are included cultural diversity
and intercultural dialogue, all with a view to fostering European integration and

New digital services dedicated
to Regional and Minority Languages
The European Bureau for Lesser Used Languages (EBLUL) has launched, in
cooperation with the MERCATOR centres, the so-called MININF project; a name
which stands for Minority Information. The objective of the project is to make
lesser used languages more visible in the field of new technologies, and especially
on the Internet. In order to achieve this, MININF has been conceived to offer 4
different digital services: 1) the Internet portal Lingualia; 2) a web-hosting
service at the service of associations; 3) thematic activities open to the general
public; and 4) virtual offices to foster better European cooperation. The site is

Document on the Protection
of Cultural Diversity
A recent Communication of the European Commission, directed at the European
Parliament and the Council, and called " Towards an international instrument on
cultural diversity ,"
can now be downloaded either directly from the Europa
server, or following the link below. The European Commission considers that this
document is an important and necessary tool to preserve and promote cultural
diversity.
The European Institute of
Cultural Routes has created an electronic
newsletter. The European Institute of Cultural Routes, with seat in Luxembourg,
has initiated the publication of a newsletter, in order to disseminate artistic
