Language and Intercultural Studies
This MA focuses on issues of language, culture and regional and national identity
in the European Union. You will need a second language, which can be English in
the case of non-native speakers. Explore intercultural policy questions
fundamental to the development of Europe as it seeks to preserve its cultural and
linguistic diversity while aiming for increased harmonisation. Develop independent,
critical analysis and original thinking within a challenging interdisciplinary and often
multi-national context.
Length of course: FT 1 year, PT 2 years (taught in the evenings). Start dates:
September and February
